I couldn't resist styling my new hoop and pearl earrings with some fun pattern mixing today.
There's a timeless beauty to pearls, which is why people refer to them as the "Queen of Jewels". One quality you'll find in a pearl is that they can go with just about any color and style of clothing.
Here are some guidelines I follow when I'm in the mood to mix things up. I try to pick two different prints that share a single color and I like to mix prints of different scales.
Pearl earrings are a great accessory to wear as the natural sheen allows the pearls to pick up the color of the clothes.
Please note that pearls aren't as durable as diamonds or sapphires but with proper care, you can keep your pearls safe, even during everyday wear. This means keeping them away from cosmetics, hairsprays, perfumes and acidic materials. It is best to put pearl jewelry on last. Wipe them gently with a dry soft cloth before storing them to remove any dirt or perspiration.
